Bandung Spot : KEBUN BINATANG

Hellooo, readers! This time i'm gonna tell you about one of many spots in Bandung.

Actually this spot already built since long time ago, not like some spot that popular now that built when our Mayor, Ridwan Kamil reign this city. It was Kebun Binatang! I thought almost everybody have visited this place.

Me, my self had ever just came there twice, it was when i was child and the last one was when i had last holiday.
There you could found so many animals. Some of animals were tame and some of animals were wild. It's fun to see them near cause i rarely came there.

You can see many birds, they live in a huge cage and there live various species of bird. There also lion, tiger, and panter. Their cages was hindered with glass. So we could saw them clearly. And then there were so many crocodile, and i saw the big one, so scared! And you could saw the other animals like turtles orangutans , snakes, elephant, buffalo, camel, etc.

A Peacock showed it beautiful feather

My little brother interested to see Peacock

My little brother just saw orangutan

I just captured some photos of lion

Kebun Binatang Bandung open every day but in the weekend there are some appearence. Moreover, you can enjoy playing flying fox, pond for boat, and playground.

But sadly, the condition was worrying. I saw all the animals didn't look attractive, they were  just lay down. Beside that some of their cages not maintaned. I thought it should be they were more save and maintained. Wasn't that so sad, right? :( i really hope they have happy live just like me.

Let's love and save animals!

Animal Kingdom : Red Panda

                Source : Google Image

The red panda (Ailurus fulgens), also called lesser pandared bear-cat andred cat-bear, is a small arborealmammal native to the easternHimalayas and south-western Chinathat has been classified as vulnerableby IUCN as its wild population is estimated at less than 10,000 mature individuals. The population continues to decline and is threatened by habitat loss and fragmentationpoaching, andinbreeding depression, although red pandas are protected by national laws in their range countries.[1][4]

The red panda is slightly larger than adomestic cat. It has reddish-brown fur, a long, shaggy tail, and a waddling gait due to its shorter front legs. It feeds mainly on bamboo, but is omnivorousand also eats eggs, birdsinsects, and small mammals. It is a solitary animal, mainly active from dusk to dawn, and is largely sedentary during the day.

The red panda is the only living species of the genus Ailurus and the familyAiluridae. It has been previously placed in the raccoon and bear families, but results of phylogenetic research indicate strong support for itstaxonomic classification in its own family Ailuridae, which along with theweaselraccoon and skunk families is part of the superfamily Musteloidea.[5]Two subspecies are recognized.[3] It is not closely related to the giant panda.

The head and body length of red pandas measures 50 to 64 cm (20 to 25 in), and their tail is 28 to 59 cm (11 to 23 in). Males weigh 3.7 to 6.2 kg (8.2 to 13.7 lb) and females 3 to 6.0 kg (6.6 to 13.2 lb).[6][7][8] They have long, soft reddish-brown fur on the upper parts, blackish fur on the lower parts, and a light face with tear markings and robustcranial-dental features. The light face has white badges similar to those of araccoon, but each individual can have distinctive markings. Their roundish head has medium-sized upright ears, a black nose, and very dark eyes: almost pitch black. Their long bushy tail with six alternating yellowish red transverseochre rings provides balance and excellent camouflage against its habitat of moss- and lichen-covered trees. The legs are black and short with thick fur on the soles of the paws. This fur serves as thermal insulation on snow-covered or ice surfaces and conceals scent glands which are also present on the anus.[9]

The red panda is specialized as a bamboo feeder with strong, curved and sharp semi-retractile claws[6] standing inward for grasping of narrow tree branches, leaves and fruit. Like thegiant panda, it has a “false thumb” that is an extension of the wrist bone. When descending a tree head-first, the red panda rotates its ankle to control its descent, one of the few climbing species to do so.[10]

The red panda is endemic to thetemperate forests of the Himalayas, and ranges from the foothills of westernNepal to China in the east.[11] Its easternmost limit is the Qinling Mountains of the Shaanxi Province in China. Its range includes southernTibetSikkim and Assam in India,Bhutan, the northern mountains ofBurma, and in south-western China, in the Hengduan Mountains of Sichuanand the Gongshan Mountains inYunnan. It may also live in south-westTibet and northern Arunachal Pradesh, but this has not been documented. Locations with the highest density of red pandas include an area in the Himalayas that has been proposed as having been a refuge for a variety of endemic species in the Pleistocene. The distribution range of the red panda should be considered disjunct, rather than continuous.[6] A disjunct population inhabits the Meghalaya Plateau of north-eastern India.[12]

During a survey in the 1970s, signs of red pandas were found in Nepal'sDhorpatan Hunting Reserve.[13] Their presence was confirmed in spring 2007 when four red pandas were sighted at elevations ranging from 3,220 to 3,610 m (10,560 to 11,840 ft).[14] The species' westernmost limit is in Rara National Park located farther west of the Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve.[15]Their presence was confirmed in 2008.[16]

The red panda lives between 2,200 and 4,800 meters (7,200 and 15,700 ft) altitude, inhabiting areas of moderate temperature between 10 and 25 °C (50 and 77 °F) with little annual change. It prefers mountainous mixed deciduousand conifer forests, especially with old trees and dense understories ofbamboo.[6][11]

The red panda population in Sichuan Province is larger and more stable than the Yunnan population, suggesting a southward expansion from Sichuan into Yunnan in the Holocene.[17]

The red panda has become extirpatedfrom the Chinese provinces of Guizhou,Gansu, Shaanxi and Qinghai.[18]

Song : Good Life by One Republic

 Source : Youtube

Woke up in London yesterday
Found myself in the cityh near Piccadilly
Don't really know how I got here
I got some pictures on my phone

New names and numbers that I don't know
Address to places like Abbey Road
Day turns to night, night turns to whatever we want
We're young enough to say

Oh this has gotta be the good life
This has gotta be the good life
This could really be a good life, good life

Say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight
Like this city is on fire tonight
This could really be a good life
A good, good life

To my friends in New York, I say hello
My friends in L.A. they don't know
Where I've been for the past few years or so
Paris to China to Colorado

Sometimes there's airplanes I can't jump out
Sometimes there's bullshit that don't work now
We all got our stories but please tell me-e-e-e
What there is to complain about

When you're happy like a fool
Let it take you over
When everything is out
You gotta take it in

Oh this has gotta be the good life
This has gotta be the good life
This could really be a good life, good life

Say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight
Like this city is on fire tonight
This could really be a good life
A good, good life

Hopelessly
I feel like there might be something that I'll miss
Hopelessly
I feel like the window closes oh so quick
Hopelessly
I'm taking a mental picture of you now
'Cause hopelessly
The hope is we have so much to feel good about

Oh this has gotta be the good life
This has gotta be the good life
This could really be a good life, good life

Say oh, got this feeling that you can't fight
Like this city is on fire tonight
This could really be a good life
A good, good life

Oh yeah
Good, good life
Good life
Ooh

Listen
My friends in New York, I say hello
My friends in L.A. they don't know
Where I've been for the past few years or so
Paris to China to Colorado

Sometimes there's airplanes I can't jump out
Sometimes there's bullshit that don't work now

Meaning of the song:
I don't see this song as a straightforward celebration of a "good life." I hear something more like desperation; a frantic search for meaning and connection amidst fading hopes that such things can actually be found in this life. The singer seems aware that he is more fortunate and better-off than the vast majority of the world's population: he insists that "this has gotta be a good life" since he has been afforded such opportunities by the accident of his birth in a wealthy nation.

He searches for this "good life" in raucous, reckless partying. Waking up with no memory of the previous night's events, and apparently in a different city than he was expecting, obviously indicates heavy drinking the night before. He knows that he met lots of people, went to interesting places, and probably did plenty of exciting things, but it's all a detached sort of fun. It's all what he's "supposed to do" as a young celebrity, but is it really what he wants?

He doesn't want to deal with that question. When you're "happy like a fool," you can forget about those troubling thoughts for a while. All it takes is a few more shots of liquor...or maybe some harder drugs.

The bridge lays it all out. The final line contains the theme of the song: "Hopelessly, the hope is we have so much to feel good about." We're young, privileged, and successful on top of that. We don't have a right _not_ to be happy, right? But...what if we're not happy after all? What if the whirlwind days and the crazy nights don't satisfy that little part of us that wants the simpler, more elusive pleasures of warm companionship, purpose, and genuine human connection?

Well, "we all got our stories." With that, he dismisses any possibility that his unhappiness could be real or understandable. With it goes any chance of resolving the vague longing that troubles him. Stuff your discontent deep down inside, and pretend that it isn't agonizing while it eats at the very substance of your being. That's all you can do, as a conscientious and self-aware member of society. Eventually, the pain will stop...one way or another.
