JOURNAL 28/10/14 (exchanged of miss mayang's task)

Helloo, this jurnal i made to complete my task when i didn't come at LM English because i was sick so i stay at home. Actually i don't really remember what i do at the time because it was a long long day ago.

But i will try to remind it to complete my task.

I think sick is not really bad. Because i can take a rest at home when my friend was stressed about the task at school, have more family time, play with my brother, and do others thing that i can't do when i went to school. 

But that day when i wasn't come to school, my class has chemical exam and i couldn't attend to do the exam. Arina said it was VERY HARD. Omg i thought that i would be the next victim of the exam. Then my mind say just let it flow and do another thing. So i did my homework for Wednesday. 

Suddenly, Mail text me and said "Why you didn't come salsal? The LM English today is so fun! We are trying to make an advertisement and we have to make a motto to promote our company." And i asked him "so what should i do?" He answered " maybe you'll have a grammar test and it will be so hard" and then i answered " omg dont make me afraid  please :(" then mail reply again "hahaha i'm just kidding :)"

After i spend time to finish my homework, i prepared the things for wednesday. So that's all from me, thank you very much :) and i'm sorry if i can't entertain you with this post.

Story telling : The Flying Elephant

A sugarcane farmer once lived in a small village. He worked very hard in his fields and hoped to have a big harvest.

One morning, he saw that a big chunk of his crop was missing. The next day, another huge chunk of his crop was gone.

"I'll stay awake tonight and see who's eating my sugarcane," the farmer thought to himself.

That night, he waited by the window, watching his fields. As the moon rose, he saw a tiny speck grow larger in the sky. It was an elephant flying right into his field! The farmer watched in amazement as it flew down and started eating his sugarcane. He tiptoed outside and waited for the elephant to finish eating. When the elephant began flying away, the farmer grabbed its tail in order to catch the elephant. Soon, he was flying above his field into Indra's kingdom of Paradise.

Paradise was filled with beautiful birds and flowers. The ground was covered with silver grass and precious stones. The farmer soon found the royal palace and met Indra.

"Your elephant has been flying down and eating all my sugarcane. My harvest is ruined," said the farmer.

"I'm very sorry. Please take whatever you want from my kingdom. I'll make sure he doesn't go down again and damage your crops," said Indra and blessed the man with a  safe journey back home.

The farmer took two handfuls of gems and returned home. He built himself a new house and became a very rich man. Soon, the whole village was curious about his sudden wealth.

One day, some villagers went to visit the farmer's wife.

"Where did you get all this money? Did you find buried treasure in your fields?" They asked.

The farmer's wife told them what had happened. That evening the villagers decided to lure the elephant down themselves.

"When we get to Paradise, we'll take more than just two handfuls of gems!" They said.

They planted a field of sugarcane and sure enough, the elephant flew down one night.

One villager grabbed its tail and soon there was a chain of villagers flying behind the elephant. As they flew up, they began talking about what they would bring back. Finally, it was the turn of the villager holding elephant's tail.

"I'm going to carry back this many gems!" He declared in exitement. He stretched his arms wide and let go of the elephan's tail. The villagers all fell in a heap on the ground. They watched sadly as the elephant dissapeared into the sky.

"Don't worry. The elephant will come back tomorrow," said the villagers. But Indra hearing of the villagers trick arranged for a sugarcane field to be planted in Paradise.

The elephant never felt the need to fly down again. The villagers waited for many nights, watching the sky. But the elephant never come back again.

Mendenhall Glacier is a glacier about 12 miles (19 km) long located inMendenhall Valley, about 12 miles (19 km) from downtown Juneau in the southeast area of the U.S. state ofAlaska. The glacier and surrounding landscape is protected as the 5,815-acre Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area, a federally designated unit of theTongass National Forest.^[2]

Originally known as Sitaantaagu ("the Glacier Behind the Town") or Aak'wtaaksit ("the Glacier Behind the Little Lake") by the Tlingits, the glacier was named Auke (Auk) Glacier by naturalist John Muir for the Tlingit Auk Kwaan (or Aak'w Kwaan) band in 1888. In 1891 it was renamed in honor ofThomas Corwin Mendenhall. It extends from the Juneau Icefield, its source, toMendenhall Lake and ultimately theMendenhall River.

The Juneau Icefield Research Program has monitored the outlet glaciers of the Juneau Icefield since 1942, including Mendenhall Glacier. The glacier has also receded 1.75 miles (2.82 km) since 1958, when Mendenhall Lake was created, and over 2.5 miles (4.0 km) since 1500. The end of the glacier currently has a negative glacier mass balance and will continue to retreat in the foreseeable future.^[3]

Given that average yearly temperatures are currently increasing, and the outlook is for this trend to continue, it is actually possible that the glacier might experience a period of stabilization or slight advance during its retreating march. This is because increasing amounts of warm, moist air will be carried up to the head of the icefield, where colder ambient temperatures will cause it to precipitate as snow. The increased amount of snow will feed the icefield, possibly enough to offset the continually increasing melting experienced at the glacier's terminus. However, this interesting phenomenon will fade away if temperatures continue to climb, since the head of the glacier will no longer have cold enough ambient temperatures to cause snow to precipitate.

Wonderful Day and Night at Matswapati

Hello, everybody! This time Mrs. Wiwin gave us a 'Tugas Mandiri' task about SMAN 3 Bandung Cultural Festival. It was held at 27th of September 2014. Name of the festival is...Matswapati! I heard that Matswapati is a name of Wayang character. This event had vacuum for 6 years. So this event is really exciting and interesting especially for SMAN 3 Bandung students. And this event won't be held without Abdel M. Deghati. So give a big thanks for him guys! 

We started the day with parade at 7 am. The parade was followed by tenth graders and others school students. And the parade was competed among classes. We walked while sang around Sumur Bandung area. And i think the parade was so fun but made me and my friends quiet tired. 

Around 11 am, the festival officially opened. And there was something that made our opening special. It was because the opening attended by Ridwan Kamil and his wife, Athia Kamil. Suddenly so many people came near to the stage. And than we treated by many perfomer of SMAN 3 Bandung extracurricular and others community.

There were many interesting stand. Stand of my class was offer to play pepeletokan. It was a sunda game that rarely to find now. If you lucky you could got a sunda snack or a doll or maybe a clothes. The other class stand had unique games or service too. At X ipa-1 stand you could give something to anybody you want but mostly the visitors who came there gave the thing for their crush. At X ipa-2 you could took an IQ test. And then at X ipa 4 there were many girl clothes. I didn't really remember what all of the stands offer. But i think the stands with the most visitors were at X ipa 7 stand. The stand offer Miracle's service. It was ' Miracle knows your secret'. Many visitors came there to ask an advice for what they had to do. Mostly ask about their love story. And you could paid her whatever you want but sincere. There was a foodcourt too. The food court offer many variant food. You could found bazaar SMAN 3 Bandung foods too there.

The announcement of the favourite winner would be annouce. And then... The MC said that the points of the first winner was far enough from the second winner. And then the MC said that the first winner was....X ipa 3!!!! It was crazy. We never thought it before. And the prizes was really amazing. We got 1 million!! YEAY! 

The time that we waited were to watch Barsena and Glenn Fredly. 

Barsena was perform about 5 a clock until Adzan Magrib. After that, we were given a time for Magrin prayer. So everyone went to the nearest Masjid. 

Finally, Glenn Fredly perform time was came! Everybody waited this moment. Actually i'm not a fan of Glenn but i love his songs, everyone knows his songs. It's like his song is everybody songs. He brought us to love nuence. Because he mostly sang the love song. And the most i liked that he sang that night was 'Terserah'. It is one of sad song of Glenn. For me the song is completely direct for someone out there :'). Beside that, Glenn was talked about his ignorance of President decion that negated elections. Nobody want this include me. 

So that was my wonderful day and night at Matswapati. Keep calm and love your own culture!

Introduction

Hello, my name is Salsalbilla Maharani Achda. You can call me Salsa. But my junior high school friends usually call me Salsal because there are 5 Salsabilla at my junior high school. I was born at 21st of August 1999. I have 1 little brother. He was only one and  a half years. He was born when I was in eighth grade. It was at 7th of February 2013. His name is Muhammad Rifat Thiago Al-Kautsar. At the first time i thought that was a wrong time when i know that i would have a sibling. Because im afraid i would lose him. It was happen when i was kid.  My mother had miscarried 4 times. It was really terrible time. I lost my older brother and 3 little brother/sister. So that was. But now im really happy and grateful to God because i never felt lonely again. 

My kindergarten was at permata ibunda. Then i continued my school to karang pawulang 4 elementary school. After that i studied at 5 junior high school. And now i am a student of 3 high school (nobody ask). Alhamdulillah :) . The next i want to study at ITB majoring in architecture or 

faculty of medical at German. Aamiin. 

And then about my hobby. I think i have many hobbies. But the most i like is eating!!! For me eating is more important than my need. And then  i like playing music. I can play kajon and guitar. But i only an amateur player. I also like reading. Read everything. Reading novel, comic, newspaper, magazine, article from internet, and other things.

And then about my excellence and weakness. When i was at junior high school, me and my friends once assigned to write the exellence and weakness  of all students in our class. And my friends wrote my exellence are kind, smart, wise, and polite. And my weakness are not neat, plain, freak, and... they said to be a fan of Lionel Messi is a weakness... this is really hurt :'(. Just imagine your admiring person be degraded like that...but from all of that i was really happy. Because i could be that person (my exellence) for my friends although i was not feel same with what they said. I hope i could be better soon for My God who always there for me and everyone. 

Know More About My Friend

Hello hello :) welcome to my new post. This time i will tell you about my 'New' friend. And the person is Muhammad Ismail Faruqi. I usually call him mail or boil. Okay so let me tell you more detail about 'The Mail'.

M-A-I-L. We met at 'lintas minat' class. He's from X IPA-5. He was studied at 7 JHS Bandung and Karang Pawulang 4 ES Bandung before. He was born at 4th of February 2000 and he's the youngest one in his family. He has 3 old brother and an old sister. He is younger than me but he is smarter than me, so sad :( Now he lives at Gumuruh Street number 50. 

And then i will tell you about his out characteristic. He is just like others teenager boy. His height about 170 cm. He has black hair and pointed nose. And i think he is thin enough. *mail if you read this don't fly too high.

But if you know more about his habbits... Actually he is really funny :) He often makes me laugh. He is not the same with others boy because usually a boy never want to compromise with girl. But mail always be friendly with girl. So i never get stiff if i talk with him. And more than friendly he is a freak friend. Sometimes i don't understand when he laugh alone -_-. But his funny laugh makes me laugh too. Oh yeah, before,  i told you about my new friend at X IPA 3 who actually my sitmate, yeah she is Arina. And she really get along with Mail. So actually that was the first time i know him. 

He ever said that in the future he want to be a pharmacist or a doctor or a scholars. So many but cool right?
